Privacy Policy

1. Who We Are

Liquidiction ("we", "us", "our") is a frontend interface for trading prediction markets on the Hyperliquid blockchain. We are not an exchange, broker, or custodian. We provide a user interface that connects directly to the Hyperliquid network.

2. What Data We Collect

Data you provide voluntarily:

• Wallet address - Your public blockchain address when you connect your wallet. This is inherently public on-chain data.
• Display name (alias) - An optional nickname you can set (max 20 characters).
• Profile image - An optional avatar image you upload (max 500KB).
• X (Twitter) account link - If you choose to link your X account, we store your handle and profile picture URL.

Data collected automatically:

• Trade activity - We index publicly available HIP-4 trade data from the Hyperliquid blockchain for analytics, leaderboards, and the social feed.
• Usage analytics - We use Umami (privacy-focused, cookie-free analytics) to understand page visits and feature usage. No personal data is collected.
• Session data - Temporary browser session data (sessionStorage) for trade execution. This is automatically cleared when you close the tab.

Data we do NOT collect:

• Email addresses
• Real names or government IDs
• Private keys or seed phrases
• IP addresses (not stored in our database)
• Cookies (we do not use tracking cookies)

3. How We Use Your Data

• Display your profile, alias, and avatar on leaderboards and the social feed
• Show your trade history and position data in your portfolio view
• Generate analytics and market statistics (volume, holder data, trade distributions)
• Improve the platform's functionality and user experience

We never sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

4. Non-Custodial Nature

Liquidiction is a non-custodial interface. We never have access to, hold, or control your funds. All trades execute directly on the Hyperliquid L1 blockchain through your own wallet. Trade signatures are created in your browser using temporary agent keys stored in your browser's session storage and cleared when you close the tab or disconnect.

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• Privy - Wallet connection and authentication
• Hyperliquid - Blockchain network for trade execution and market data
• Vercel - Hosting and serverless infrastructure
• Neon (Postgres) - Database for trade history, aliases, and analytics
• Vercel Blob - Profile image storage
• Umami - Privacy-focused web analytics
• LI.FI - Cross-chain bridge aggregator for transferring assets to Hyperliquid. When using the bridge feature, your wallet address and transaction data are shared with LI.FI and underlying bridge protocols. Liquidiction does not custody or control any funds during bridging. Each service has its own privacy policy. We encourage you to review them.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Delete your alias - Remove your display name at any time from your profile page.
• Delete your profile image - Upload a new image or contact us to remove it.
• Unlink your X account - Remove the link from your profile or the Feed page at any time.
• Disconnect your wallet - This clears all session data including temporary agent keys.
• Request data deletion - Contact us to request deletion of your alias, profile image, and X account link from our database.

Note: On-chain trade data is publicly recorded on the Hyperliquid blockchain and cannot be deleted by us or anyone else. This is a fundamental property of blockchain technology.

7. Data Retention

We retain your alias, profile image, and X account link until you delete them. Trade analytics data derived from the public blockchain may be retained indefinitely. Session data (agent keys) is automatically cleared when you close your browser tab.

8. Security

We implement reasonable security measures including wallet signature verification for all account changes, rate limiting on API endpoints, Content Security Policy headers, and parameterized database queries. Agent keys are stored in session storage (not persistent storage) and cleared on disconnect.

9. Children

Liquidiction is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

10. Changes

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of Liquidiction after changes constitutes acceptance.
