Privacy Policy

1. Who We Are

Liquidiction (“we”, “us”, “our”) is a non-custodial frontend interface and order router that aggregates and displays HIP-4 prediction markets and HIP-3 / HL native perpetual futures markets that are independently deployed and operated on the Hyperliquid L1 blockchain. We are not an exchange, broker, swap dealer, futures commission merchant, or custodian. We do not deploy markets, hold user funds, or determine settlement outcomes — those functions are performed by independent HIP-4 / HIP-3 deployers and the Hyperliquid protocol. We provide a user interface that connects directly to the Hyperliquid network.

What Liquidiction actually is, in plain terms. Liquidiction is essentially a unified user interface built on top of two third-party services that already exist on their own:

• Privy handles wallet connection, social login, embedded-wallet creation, and optional X (Twitter) account linking. Privy is the entity that authenticates you and manages the cryptographic relationship with your wallet provider. Privy's privacy policy governs the data they collect during authentication.
• Hyperliquid is the L1 blockchain, decentralised exchange, perp engine, prediction-market protocol (HIP-4 / HIP-3), and custodian of all funds. Every trade, deposit, withdrawal, settlement, liquidation, funding payment, borrow, and balance update happens on Hyperliquid — not on Liquidiction. Hyperliquid's terms govern your trading activity.

What Liquidiction adds is the user interface, market discovery, social layer (chat, feed, leaderboards, badges, Battles contests), analytics, and order routing convenience. We connect your wallet via Privy, render data fetched from Hyperliquid's public APIs, and forward signed orders directly to Hyperliquid for execution. We do not sit between you and Hyperliquid for any custodial or settlement purpose.

2. What Data We Collect

Data you provide voluntarily:

• Wallet address - Your public blockchain address when you connect your wallet. This is inherently public on-chain data.
• Display name (alias) - An optional nickname you can set (max 20 characters).
• Profile image - An optional avatar image you upload (max 500KB).
• X (Twitter) account link - If you choose to link your X account, we store your handle and profile picture URL.
• Chat messages - Messages you send in global or per-market chat rooms. Stored with your wallet address and timestamp.
• Referral data - If you use a referral link, we store the referrer-referee relationship.

Data collected automatically:

• Trade activity - We index publicly available HIP-4 trade data from the Hyperliquid blockchain for analytics, leaderboards, and the social feed.
• Usage analytics - We use Umami (privacy-focused, cookie-free analytics) to understand page visits and feature usage. No personal data is collected.
• Session data - Temporary browser session data (sessionStorage) for trade execution. This is automatically cleared when you close the tab.

Data we do NOT collect:

• Email addresses
• Real names or government IDs
• Private keys or seed phrases
• IP addresses (not stored in our database)
• Cookies (we do not use tracking cookies)

3. How We Use Your Data

• Display your profile, alias, avatar, and badges on leaderboards and the social feed
• Show your trade history and position data in your portfolio view
• Display chat messages in global and per-market chat rooms
• Generate analytics and market statistics (volume, holder data, trade distributions)
• Expose aggregated, non-personal market data via our MCP (Model Context Protocol) server for AI agent integrations
• Generate dynamic Open Graph preview images when market links are shared on social platforms
• Improve the platform's functionality and user experience

We never sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

4. Public Leaderboards and Third-Party Promotions

Liquidiction displays public leaderboards, feeds, and dashboards that aggregate on-chain trading activity. This includes the main leaderboard, market-level top-trader lists, the social Feed, and any sponsored trading competitions or promotional leaderboards that may be featured from time to time.

When your wallet has been used to trade HIP-4 markets on the Hyperliquid blockchain, the following data may be publicly displayed on these leaderboards:

• Your wallet address (abbreviated or full)
• Your linked X/Twitter handle and avatar, if you have voluntarily linked one
• Your alias and profile image, if you have set them
• Trading statistics derived from public blockchain data (volume, trade count, realized PnL, win rate, ROI, rank, etc.)
• Badges you have earned (Waitlist OG, collab, NFT holder, X connected, etc.)

All of this data is either already public on the Hyperliquid blockchain or voluntarily provided by you. You can unlink your X handle, change your alias, or remove your profile image at any time from your profile settings. On-chain trade history, however, is a permanent property of the blockchain and cannot be deleted.

Battles (Liquidiction-operated contests).If you create or join a Battle at /battles, your alias, profile image, wallet address, and contest-window trading stats (PnL, ROI, volume, trade count, rank, and routing share) become part of that contest’s public leaderboard while it is active and after it concludes. Battle results are derived entirely from public on-chain HIP-4 fills plus the order-source attribution you create when you trade through Liquidiction’s UI. We do not collect any new personal data for Battles beyond what we already collect for leaderboards. You can decline to join any Battle; declining does not affect access to the rest of the Platform.

Third-party promotions. Liquidiction may from time to time display leaderboards or dashboards tied to promotions, trading contests, or giveaways operated by third parties (such as ecosystem partners or sponsors). When you participate in such a promotion:

• Your public trading statistics and linked X handle may be visible to the third-party operator (the “Sponsor”) for the purpose of determining rankings and winners
• Prize distribution, eligibility verification, and any KYC or identity verification required for prize payout are handled solely by the Sponsor, not by Liquidiction
• If the Sponsor requires additional information from you (e.g., a destination wallet, tax information), that collection is governed by the Sponsor’s own privacy policy and is not the responsibility of Liquidiction
• Liquidiction does not share private data such as session tokens, wallet signatures, or any non-public personal data with Sponsors unless explicitly disclosed to you at the time of collection
• Participation in any third-party promotion is voluntary; declining to participate does not affect your access to the rest of the Platform

For the specific data-handling practices of any given promotion, consult the Sponsor’s official rules and privacy policy, which will be linked from the promotion interface.

5. Non-Custodial Nature

Liquidiction is a non-custodial interface. We never have access to, hold, or control your funds. All trades execute directly on the Hyperliquid L1 blockchain through your own wallet. Trade signatures are created in your browser using temporary agent keys stored in your browser's session storage and cleared when you close the tab or disconnect.

6. Third-Party Services

Core services that Liquidiction is built on.Liquidiction's function is essentially to combine these two services with a user interface. Your relationship with each is governed by their own terms and privacy policies, not by Liquidiction's:

• Privy — wallet authentication and account linking provider. Privy handles wallet connection (MetaMask, Rabby, embedded wallets, etc.), social login flows, X (Twitter) OAuth linking, and the cryptographic session that lets you sign messages. Privy may collect your wallet address, IP address, browser fingerprint, social-account identifiers, and other authentication metadata. See Privy's privacy policy.
• Hyperliquid — the L1 blockchain network and protocol that hosts every market displayed on Liquidiction, custodies all user funds, executes every trade, and produces every settlement. Your trading activity is recorded on Hyperliquid's public ledger. See Hyperliquid's terms and privacy policy.

Other infrastructure providers:

• Vercel — hosting and serverless infrastructure for the Liquidiction frontend.
• Neon (Postgres) — database for the alias, profile-image, X-link, chat-message, and indexed-trade-history tables that power Liquidiction's social and analytics layer. (Trades themselves are sourced from public Hyperliquid data.)
• Vercel Blob — profile image storage.
• Umami — privacy-focused, cookie-free web analytics for aggregate page-view counts.
• Google Analytics 4 — aggregate event analytics (page views, feature usage). Wallet addresses are NOT sent to Google; only non-identifying event names and parameters.
• HypeDexer — market data enrichment (holder data, settlements, fees).
• LI.FI — cross-chain bridge aggregator for transferring assets to Hyperliquid. When using the bridge feature, your wallet address and transaction data are shared with LI.FI and underlying bridge protocols. Liquidiction does not custody or control any funds during bridging. Each service has its own privacy policy. We encourage you to review them.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Delete your alias - Remove your display name at any time from your profile page.
• Delete your profile image - Upload a new image or contact us to remove it.
• Unlink your X account - Remove the link from your profile or the Feed page at any time.
• Disconnect your wallet - This clears all session data including temporary agent keys.
• Request data deletion - Contact us to request deletion of your alias, profile image, and X account link from our database.

Note: On-chain trade data is publicly recorded on the Hyperliquid blockchain and cannot be deleted by us or anyone else. This is a fundamental property of blockchain technology.

8. Data Retention

We retain your alias, profile image, X account link, and chat messages until you request deletion. Trade analytics data derived from the public blockchain may be retained indefinitely. Badge data (waitlist OG, collab giveaway) is retained as long as the badge program is active. Session data (agent keys) is automatically cleared when you close your browser tab.

9. Security

We implement reasonable security measures including wallet signature verification for all account changes, rate limiting on API endpoints, Content Security Policy headers, and parameterized database queries. Agent keys are stored in session storage (not persistent storage) and cleared on disconnect.

10. Children

Liquidiction is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

11. Changes

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of Liquidiction after changes constitutes acceptance.
